Over 8-10 weeks, you'll gain valuable insights into how we develop software for our clients across a broad range of sectors including Medical, Consumer, Transport, Defence & Security and Communications. Projects vary in size, so you could be working within a team of software engineers as part of a larger project or more autonomously on a smaller one.
Our work ranges from proof-of-principle prototypes to fully fledged products. On some projects the emphasis is on creating something demonstrable as quickly as possible, others projects follow a more rigorous engineering process. Most of the work we do is based in our labs just outside Cambridge, but you may also need to visit client sites in the UK or overseas. Part of our business is to provide technical consultancy, so you may be involved in researching topics and contributing to written reports.
As a member of a growing team of around 30 Software Engineers, you'll assist in the development of software solutions for our clients.
This role is open to undergraduates in their penultimate year of university. If you intend to return to university after the internship to complete an MSc, you will also be eligible for this position.
We welcome international applications, but please note that we’re unable to offer sponsorship for work permits once you’ve graduated. As this role is an entry role to an analyst role you will need to have the full right to live and work in the UK to be eligible to apply.
The start date for this role will be in July 2018.
