As one of the world’s leading engineering, professional services and technical consultancy firms, at WSP, we’re passionate about the big questions. And big answers, naturally. For us that’s all about reaching beyond the expected to do work that’ll make a profound impact felt long into the future.
Our Civil Engineering teams based in our Belfast office are currently looking for graduates with an interest in Water Engineering, Bridges or Highways.
Our water team work on local projects with NIW / Irish Water as well as UK and International Clients, undertaking strategic, innovative and challenging projects with a focus on delivering improved customer service across the water industry.
The Highways team provide opportunities to be involved with delivering long-term sustainable solutions for all types of highways, from local access roads to major urban and rural strategic routes. There cost-effective designs improve safety, ease congestion and extend street and highway life. As a trusted partner to Highways England, they deliver cost effective improvements to England’s strategic road network, such as the M25 widening and the A35 roundabout improvement.
Graduate Bridges Engineers at WSP have the opportunity to join the teams that worked on the Shard, Bond Street Station, Alder Hey Children’s Hospital, Edinburgh Waverley Station and even the penguin pool at London Zoo! You will be actively involved from day one in a diversity of residential, commercial and transportation projects.
We asked our graduates what it’s like to do their job. On a day to day basis, the life of a graduate at WSP starts off in the morning with cups of tea and responding to any urgent client emails.
Naturally, there is a lot to learn and you are likely to be guided through complex software packages, team briefings and client updates from the start.
