You will also receive support towards achieving a professional qualification with the Institution of Civil Engineers or other relevant professional body.

You will learn to produce 2D drawings in AutoCAD as well as using software such as MX Roads for 3D designs. You will produce design reports explaining designs and decisions in a clear, concise manner and carry out visits to both live construction sites and potential site locations taking measurements and pictures.

All in a day’s work

We asked our graduates what it’s like to do their job. On a day to day basis, the life of a graduate at WSP starts off in the morning with cups of tea and responding to any urgent client emails.

Naturally, there is a lot to learn and you are likely to be guided through complex software packages, team briefings and client updates from the start.
