About the Role

The Civil, Bridge and Ground team is busy with highway and rail engineering work for a variety of clients, including local authorities, contractors, private developers and public-sector clients. Current work includes high-profile rail projects such as HS2 Curzon Street and Old Oak Common stations; Highways England’s smart motorway schemes such as M62 J10-12 and A1(M) J6-8; and a variety of other design commissions, feasibility studies and work with existing assets.

We are seeking MEng students in Civil Engineering to join our Bridges team in our Wrexham Office.

This would be for an immediate start.

We are looking for a graduate with the following skills and abilities:

  • Takes initiative for self-development and remains calm under pressure
  • Keeps others informed of issues in a timely manner and asks questions when they are uncertain
  • Able to manage own time effectively
  • Able to analyse technical data with attention to detail
  • Understands the importance of safety, health and environmental issues;
  • Ability to work productively as part of a team.
  • Good verbal and written communication
