Where the STEM jobs are
Gradcracker works here's the proof
"The graduate programme has been great."
I joined WSP in September 2012 after graduating from Bristol University with an MEng in Civil Engineering in July 2012. I am part of the Infrastructure division and work within the Rail team in the London office. In my first year out of university, I’ve already designed and supported the building of three footbridges in Scotland as part of my work in Rail. It’s an amazing feeling when you see the projects you’ve been working on come to life! I’ve had a lot of support from my mentor too, who’s guided me with my day-to-day work and included me on interesting bids, projects and site work he’s been involved with. I’ve also had the chance to be facilitator for an HR business focus group which allows me to see more of the inner workings of employee engagement within the company.
The graduate programme has been great. It has supported me in my day-to-day job, helped me get the relevant soft and hard skills training I need to become chartered and has allowed me to get to know other young people in the UK offices. The networking and learning experiences are invaluable to help progress my career as successful engineer.
