Key Qualifications / Experience Requirements:

  • Degree or Masters Qualified – You are likely to come from a Mathematics, Science, Engineering or Computer Science background with a passion for Data
  • Educated to a degree level in a Mathematics, Science or Engineering, or other numeric field
  • Exceptional skills in data collection and interpretation
  • Mathematical and statistical analysis and modelling skills.
  • Competent user of MS Excel or other statistical packages to process data
  • Predicative and / or prescriptive analytics.
  • Ability to present methodologies and results to colleagues environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and organisational skills.
  • Ability to adhere to project milestones and meet challenging deadlines.
  • Accurate in attention to detail.
  • Power BI and other dashboards - Data analytics skills
  • Understanding of visualisation of data, able to present data in a user-friendly way
  • Understanding of how to use and present Field data to different stakeholders
  • GIS knowledge
  • Microsoft expertise
  • Understand clients’ needs and propose appropriate analytical solutions.
  • Have strong abilities in analytics, databases, statistics and scripting; but who also have experience across a range of digital technologies.

Your Day-to-Day

  • You will assist projects and commissions in maximising the benefits of using data to improve delivery to our clients.
  • This will include data collection, processing, analysis, modelling and prediction and you will be involved at all stages in the process and across the range of our disciplines and delivery projects
  • You may get involved in troubleshooting data issues, developing and establishing new systems and processes or helping existing teams get more out the data they have access to.
  • The post holder will be expected to be able to work autonomously.
  • Serve as a technical liaison effectively working with data and configuration of different tools or applications to meet specific client objectives.
  • Collect, assess and transform data as required to support projects.
  • Derive predictive models using appropriate statistical techniques.
  • Report and present the outputs to ensure the clients have a full understanding of the project process and deliverables.
  • Work closely with the Data Geospatial and Visuals (DGV) team to improve the analysis and presentation of data
  • Work with Environmental Planning disciplines to best capture, analyse, communicate and share data
  • Focus on the communication and analysis of data
  • You will work with our internal Arcadis team, but also customers across the UK, primarily in London. You will also interact internationally with our Global Excellence Centres.

Graduate Programme:

We have a two-year development programme for our Graduates, during which time you will be fully supported in working towards various accreditation routes. You will also receive an ILM endorsed award upon completion of the training modules.
