We currently have an opportunity for a Graduate / Engineer / Scientist with an interest in flood risk management to join our multi-disciplinary Water Environment team based in Glasgow. The successful person will become part of a respected and ambitious company with excellent career prospects and international opportunities.
Our Water Environment team provides strategic, feasibility and design advice to a range of clients including the Environment Agency, Lead Local Flood Authorities, utility companies, highway agencies and national rail companies.
As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for supporting a range of flood risk projects, including surface water management plans, flood risk assessments, feasibility studies and business case development for flood risk management schemes.
You will develop a technical appreciation of fluvial and pluvial hydrology and hydraulics, surface water drainage, and economic analysis. As part of our Graduate Development Programme, we will also positively encourage the development of complementary technical and project delivery skills and provide opportunities and training for this.
