What you’ll be doing:

Our Graduate Consultants work across a range of disciplines including Transport Planning, Project Management, Strategic Consulting, Digital Factory, Economic Appraisals on some of the most iconic and diverse projects across the UK.

So whether your degree is in Transport Planning or Computer Science, Geography or Economics – then the Jacobs Graduate Development Programme can offer an unrivalled experience.

Here's What You'll Need:

  • Ability to communicate effectively with people from graduate to senior management levels
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Digital readiness – ability to adapt to technological innovations
  • Awareness of stakeholder engagement and associated issues and the ability to engage at all levels of the business from Exec to Operations
  • Willing to become comfortable with practice at successfully managing/delivering facilitation of sessions, giving presentations and in the longer term coaching teams and individuals.
  • Strong analytical thinking ability and problem-solving skills
  • A willingness to learn and experience a range of different projects, working with multi-disciplinary teams
  • Full (written/verbal) English proficiency and ability to convey information to people clearly
  • Proficient use of MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point)
  • Motivated and enthusiastic with a personal drive for high quality work, continuous improvement and the application of lessons learnt
  • Good report writing skills
  • Awareness of stakeholder engagement and associated issues and the ability to engage at all levels of the business from Exec to Operations
  • Previous exposure to consultancy environment

Ideally, here’s what you’ll also have: 

  • Proven communication skills; both verbally and written
  • Demonstrated a previous interest in working in the Consultancy/Planning/Construction/Engineering Sector
  • Full driving licence
