This new programme in its year of launch is aimed towards undergraduates who are either approaching their final year of study or have completed a principal degree and have a gap before starting a postgraduate course.

Business Unit Description

We currently have an opportunity for a 2 landscape architect interns within our landscape architecture team based in London Bridge/Croydon. The successful people will become part of a respected and ambitious company with excellent future career prospects and international opportunities.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Work as part of the landscape team on a wide variety of projects which include design based and landscape planning projects
  • Use and develop your skills with Autocad, Revit, Photoshop, and Keyscape
  • Possible involvement with site visits across various locations in the UK
  • Work with a wide range of other disciplines such as ecologists, heritage and water management specialists.

Qualifications

Essential:

  • Completed undergraduate landscape architecture degree
  • On post graduate landscape architecture course.

Desired:

  • Autocad / 3d experience
  • Adobe suite
  • Hand drawing skills
  • Report writing skills.

You will join us in the summer period and join our community of interns under our programme called Jacobs Campus. This new programme will allow you to work with a mentor who will work with you in identifying areas of learning so that when you leave you have a portfolio of learning experiences to make reference to. There will also be opportunities to network through your community and other networks across Jacobs in various experiences that will be on offer
