Want to do the best work of your life? Playing your part in making a big difference to the environment and communities we serve? Our people make Severn Trent a truly exciting and inclusive place to work – a place where you can be yourself and let your skills shine.
Our purpose is taking care of life’s essentials, but we’re also big on making a difference, not just because we should but because we care.
Which is why we are investing over £565 million into the new Green Recovery Programme, to improve the lives of the communities we serve.
We currently have several fantastic learning opportunities in Coventry with a start date of 26th September. These internships are 9 months and will give you a real insight into working life, as well as being part of an exciting project. The Green Recovery project is all about tackling our ambitious plans to support our communities, the environment and our customers.
And when we say ambitious plans, this ranges from creating the UK’s first stretches of bathing rivers and enhancing 500k of rivers, to helping our customers save water by rolling out a metering programme.
In this role you’ll work side by side with our experienced Project Managers, helping to gather, distribute, and track data, insights and programme plans to ensure we deliver our ambitious plans for our customers and communities.
We’d love to hear from you if you have an interest in Project Management. This opportunity would suit you if you love working in a fast paced environment, collaborating with lots of different colleagues and where no two days are the same!
We are looking for individuals with a curious, problem-solving mindset, and a real appetite to learn professional standards, tools and techniques through study, mentoring and coaching. If you have great communication skills and networking ability, live and breathe our company values of taking pride, having courage, embracing curiosity and showing care in your approach then we want to hear from you!
Of course, it’s important that we attract the right skill sets, and those with the right experience but we value character, positivity and a caring attitude in equal weight.
We want people who show up and roll their sleeves up. Restless spirits who are ready to be part of something bigger, who care, who really care... because when you really care, you’ll go above and beyond. When you really care you don’t just talk about it, you do more.
We welcome people from all walks of life and celebrate individuality as we know diverse minds, experiences and backgrounds help us to learn and better serve our communities. We employ thousands of people from across our community who really care about what they do. Because that is how we do what we do.
And when it comes to inclusion, we’re making sure we keep up the progress with our wonderful working groups – LGBTQ+, Women in Operations & STEM, Disability and Ethnicity; who help us do just that.
We do more because we care.
