We have an opportunity for a Level 6 (degree level) Apprentice Structural Engineer to join us in Summer/Autumn 2023 to be based in either our Reading or Oxford office. You will join a team of 24 Engineers with its own early careers community of current Graduates and Apprentices.
In this particular role you will develop skills in Computer Aided Design (CAD) and Revit 3D modelling software, as well as a robust understanding in structural engineering design.
During your apprenticeship, you will get the opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects and gain hands on experience with the support and knowledge of experienced Engineers.
As well as gaining experience in the design and drawing process of building structures, you will collaborate with a wide range of professionals such as architects, civil engineers and planners on varied projects across all sectors.
Our apprenticeships allow you to learn whilst you earn as you study for an academic qualification. You’ll get the chance to expand your knowledge by attending the University of Warwick on block release where you will gain a BEng Civil and infrastructure Engineering degree.
For our apprenticeships no previous experience is required. You will be a positive and proactive team player who demonstrates enthusiasm for engineering and Building structures in drawings. You will also be willing to apply yourself in a workplace environment.
For this Level 6 apprenticeship you will need 3 A Levels Grade AAA or above to include Maths and a Physical Science, or BTEC Extended Diploma in Engineering – DDD to include Further Engineering Mathematics.
