Gradcracker works here's the proof
Stantec are one of the world’s largest professional providers of water resources, environmental and energy services, with over 22,000 employees across 180 offices worldwide.
Following significant wins in AMP7, we are searching for Graduate Civil Engineers to join our Professional Development Programme for our autumn 2020 intake.
Stantec has offices across the UK including Scotland, High Wycombe, Leeds and Redditch. We do ask that candidates are flexible and willing to be based in any one of our locations across the UK. However, we will base candidates at their preferred office where possible.
With over 150 years’ experience in the field, ours is an open, friendly and professional environment where ideas are shared and opportunities seized. As well as a structured development programme and an assigned mentor, you’ll also be working with industry experts, people who have the skills and experience to make a real difference to your future.
We know our continuing success and development depends on yours, so we go all the way when it comes to giving you the support you need to be the very best.
If you want to work on exciting and diverse projects that really make a difference to people’s lives – then a career at Stantec could be the one for you!
To be successful in gaining a position on our Professional Development Programme you will hold a Master’s (MEng) degree in Civil Engineering that is accredited by your relevant professional body (ICE). Ideally, you will also be an affiliate member of the ICE.
Successful candidates will need to be flexible and willing to spend time in other offices. This is to gain a full understanding of new projects and different clients, which will provide fresh experiences and support your development.
Strong communication skills – both written and verbal are essential and you must be able to work well within a team and independently. You will be self – motivated, flexible and reliable with good problem solving skills.
You will also have a strong client service focus and excellent organisational skills with the ability to multi-task. Excellent computer skills and a good understanding of Microsoft Office are essential.
Candidates will also need to have a full UK driving license or in the process of taking their driving test.
We are an equal opportunities employer.
