As a Stantec graduate, you will collaborate with your team and wider cohort, developing your electrical engineering expertise within an exciting and creative interdisciplinary environment.

In this role, you will help create a comfortable environment by designing and delivering the electrical components of systems such as lighting, power, data, fire systems, security, distribution networks, whilst retaining a focus on the sustainability and environmental impact of each design. You will be exposed to BIM modelling, building physics, collaboration and co-ordination and gain detailed knowledge of building regulations and industry guidance.

You will join a supportive and successful team with exciting career opportunities, gain great client exposure and professional development and work in an innovative and collaborative environment.

About you:

At Stantec, we value your potential over past experience. Along with a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, we’d love to receive your application if you are:-

  • A planner: Organising and managing your own activities, dealing effectively with multiple priorities with a structured approach.
  • A striver: Exhibiting ownership, consistently delivering on tasks and objectives. You’ll be motivated and proactive in your tasks, having the desire to make a real difference.
  • A multi-tasker: Thinking about more than one task at a time, while still having an eye for detail.
  • A problem-solver: You’ll love to give your thoughts based on what you see, being unafraid to challenge conventional thinking.

Please note, we ask our graduates to come into the office 4 days per week, to ensure that you receive sufficient time with your team and receive the appropriate level of support.

What we can offer you:

  • A competitive salary
  • Private medical insurance
  • A range of benefits, including holiday buy and sell, group income protection and life assurance
  • Permanent employment contract to demonstrate our commitment to your long-term career at Stantec
