By the end of the programme, you’ll have developed your technical skills, built your networks and made contributions to our ever-evolving industry.

This graduate role will be within our Structural Integrity team who are responsible for the technical management of the structural integrity assurance and regulatory compliance of our offshore and onshore assets.

The Graduate Programme has a framework that will consist of:

  • A 2 Year Development Scheme made up of 4 Assignments across various departments and locations including Norwich, Dorset, Offshore Assets and Global Subsidiaries
  • Meaningful and diverse projects, as the assignments you’ll be working on will be real challenges faced by our business therefore the work you do can have real impact on our operations
  • ‘Graduate Programme Sponsors’ who will offer you a wide network of support including global contacts to help you navigate your journey which will be unique to you  
  • Technical development in your chosen engineering field whilst having uncapped opportunities to work across departments in collaboration with multi-discipline teams

What do you need?

  • Minimum 2:1 Master's degree (MSc or MEng) in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Have a passion for Engineering and a curiosity to learn about aspects outside of your field of expertise
  • Flexibility and a desire to travel across the UK and internationally throughout the Graduate Programme
  • Creative and Innovative thinker, ability to think outside of the box and provide solutions
  • Self-starter, desire to self-learn and research information
  • Ability to work in multi-disciplinary team environments

What’s Next?

  • Telephone Assessment – Following the closing date, expect to hear from us only if you have been selected. You will be invited to our first stage telephone assessment.
  • Interview – If you have been successful following your telephone assessment you will be invited to attend an in-person interview. This will take place in early 2025 at our Norwich office, giving you your first real feel for our organisation. Be prepared to put your best foot forward and discuss your experience, goals and ambitions.
  • Offer – Congratulations! You’ve secured your place on the Perenco Graduate Programme. If successful and soon after the assessment day you’ll receive a job offer from our programme coordinator. We’ll look forward to welcoming you in September 2025 and we won’t leave it there as we will have plenty of onboarding experiences for you to keep in touch with Perenco from the new year.
