Our early careers programmes provide the opportunity to gain real experience and exposure across a wide array of our business, from production to health and safety. We’re looking for bold and curious individuals who want to tackle challenges and are solution orientated.

Our Undergraduate Wells Operations Engineering Placement will entail: 

  • A 10 week programme where you’ll have the opportunity to start applying your theoretical knowledge to real life applications working with engineers across Wells and Operations
  • The opportunity to develop your analytical tools and identify improvements to current data management and usage of tools such as Power BI in our Operations
  • Ownership and responsibility, you’ll review existing and new Gas Wells and Slickline technologies assessing their efficiency, cost and make recommendations to the business
  • Working directly with experts in your field across the business, growing your professional network
  • Travel to operational sites such as Perenco UK Gas Terminals
  • The ability to kick start your career, gain invaluable experience and potentially gain a place on the Perenco 2026 Graduate Programme  

What do you need?

  • On track to complete a master’s degree in Petroleum, Mechanical, Energy or Mining related Engineering subjects.   
  • Have a passion for Engineering and a curiosity to learn about aspects outside of your field of expertise
  • Creative and Innovative thinker, ability to think outside of the box and provide solutions
  • Self-starter, desire to self-learn and research information
  • Ability to work in multi-disciplinary team environments
  • Be available for the full duration of the placement 16th June – 22nd August 2025
  • Ideally be in your penultimate year of study, finishing your degree in 2026
