"The main reason why I chose DXC for employment was a chance to work with and learn from world class talent in technology."
Studied Computer and Network Technologies at Northumbria University.
At DXC I work with Proctor and Gamble and my team are responsible for automating deployments of server configurations for P&G factories on a global scale. A typical day for me involves using bleeding edge technologies to develop scripts and applications that allow us to automate and drive change to one of the world’s largest companies.
I would describe myself as inventive and eager. In my spare time I like to develop applications and websites to broaden my knowledge on programming languages. Outside of work I also play for a badminton club where I participate in club competitions and tournaments.
The main reason why I chose DXC for employment was a chance to work with and learn from world class talent in technology.
As part of the graduate scheme I participated in the digital immersion program. This involved being placed into a team of four graduates, where we were tasked to design and create a tool that would help manage the supply and demand of resources for the Newcastle DTC.
The onboarding we received was great, all of the graduates were taken to the Newcastle DTC for a three day induction. We learnt more about DXC as a company and participated in group activities which allowed us to get to know the other graduates and develop a network. It was definitely a worthwhile experience
