The Project Controls and Estimating Department are responsible for working closely with our project teams to plan, track and monitor the progress and cost of some of the largest and most challenging engineering projects in the world, to ensure that they are delivered on time, and within budget.
Working under the guidance of the department manager and other senior members of the team, you will be involved with large scale projects from the outset. In a Project Controls environment you will be introduced to the fundamentals of Cost Control, Planning & Scheduling and Cost Estimating. Following a structured learning program, you will develop the necessary knowledge, skills and competence to meet company and project objectives as well as your own career aspirations.
What type of work experience are you likely to gain in Fluor’s graduate development programme?
Fluor’s graduate development programme aims to ensure you gain a good understanding of project execution and interdisciplinary relationships in order for you to perform effectively in a multi-discipline project organisation.
During your early years you will be exposed best practices in project budgeting, cost tracking and forecasting as well as the fundamentals of project planning, resource management and scheduling. The basic principles of capital cost estimating and risk management will also be provided to enable you to move forward in your career with a strong grounding in Project Controls.

Graduate positions at Fluor are based from our Farnborough campus, a state-of-the-art complex situated close to 2 railway stations.
