We have an exciting opportunity in the Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre for someone with a passion for mechanical engineering who is looking to use their skills in manufacturing to make an impact on UK productivity.
As a Project Engineer, you will be part of a team working on assembly projects for partner companies and European funded framework research projects. Current and future projects involve working closely with leading aerospace companies including BAE Systems, Rolls-Royce and Boeing. You will play an active role in designing, building and testing systems for optimising manufacturing processes. You should have proven experience with design, build and development of mechanical systems, a willingness to work within a larger team, and the ability to adapt to and learn new systems when necessary.
