About this Programme

As a software development intern in the Engineering Development Group (EDG), you will receive a combination of practical experience and training in a work environment that fosters and rewards cooperation, teamwork, learning, and fun. You will work with our experienced software engineers on a project and you will have the opportunity to increase your knowledge in MATLAB and/or Simulink.

Working at MathWorks

Why is MathWorks a great place to work? MathWorks develops MATLAB and Simulink— software that transforms the way engineers and scientists think and work. Whatever your job, your unique strengths will be fully engaged and you will be surrounded by incredible people.

The internship will increase your experience in software development, software testing and debugging, real-world applications, communication and presentation skills, as well as leadership skills.

After training on MathWorks development processes and tools, you will work with a development team on implementing features such as algorithms or UIs for a future release of one of our 90+ products – or help to develop automated tests to verify that features in MATLAB or Simulink are working as designed.

This internship will prepare you for a career at MathWorks starting in our Engineering Development Group (EDG).
