PCMS Business Analyst 12 Month Placement

As a 12-month Business Analyst placement student, you will gain the experience to support the Business Analysis team in their deliverables for key projects for our retail and hospitality clients.

About the Programme

The Business Analyst Undergraduate programme enables you to work in an Agile environment as part of a multi-disciplined team.

During your placement at PCMS, you will be working on high profile enterprise retail systems processing millions of transactions per day, underpinning retailers in-store business. You will gain experience in Business Analysis and support the BA team with project deliverables.

By the end of the 12-month placement you will be an active member of an Agile development team.

About the Role

You will be developed by the Business Analysis team and you will be given real work from day one. You will have individual responsibilities and deliverables in key client projects. This will involve you in participating in the full Agile software development lifecycle, analysing and elaborating on customer requirements, writing business requirements/stories and creating relevant project documentation.

You will acquire business and technical knowledge in the PCMS core product solution and defined areas (for example Retail, Tax, Loyalty Schemes etc) specific to project requirements.

You will also assist the business in maintaining an excellent relationship with the customer by attending off-site visits.

About You

You will be studying for a degree in a STEM subject.
