Application Process

1. CV and Covering Letter

This is your first opportunity to show how you fit with our values. Your CV and covering letter should show how you will successfully grow within Tarmac.

2. Online Aptitude Test

We want to get to know you better! For the next stage in our recruitment process you will be sent a link to complete some tests online. These tests give us a better understanding of your ability to interpret, analyse and draw logical conclusions from the data presented.

3. Telephone Interview

If your application is progressed you will be asked to participate in a short telephone interview. This will give you the opportunity share with us your interest in Tarmac and ask any questions about the graduate scheme and future career opportunities.

4. Assessment Centre

A number of shortlisted applicants are invited to attend an assessment centre. Here you’ll have the opportunity to meet some colleagues already working for Tarmac and learn more about our business. Through a series of exercises such as a presentation and interview we hope to learn more about you, your strengths and how you will make your mark in Tarmac.

Everyone who attends will receive comprehensive feedback to help you succeed moving forward, regardless of the outcome.
