Where the STEM jobs are
Gradcracker works here's the proof
As well as the vast variety of the actual job, there are a few other perks to help make your life with Dorset Software the best it can be. Take a look at what else is on offer here:
We offer a competitive starting salary with regular reviews. We look at everyone’s progress once a month to make sure their salary continues to reflect their development.
Contrary to some beliefs, working long hours is not good for you! At Dorset Software we don’t believe in working long hours and operate a system of flexi-time. This means that everyone has to work core hours, but outside of this you’re free to start and leave when you please; as long as you work 37.5 hours per week.
All employees are automatically enrolled onto the Company pension scheme when they have completed three months’ continuous service. The contribution from Dorset Software increases in line with length of service and employee contribution.
All new starters follow a comprehensive structured training programme. Additionally, we ensure that all staff keep up-to-date with the latest tools and technologies with ongoing training relevant to each role.
Dorset Software organises a range of events for all employees. Most years we hold a summer party and New Year party. Previous events include a boat party, sky diving, sailing, murder mystery dinner and a helicopter lesson.
We offer the Cycle To Work Scheme where you can make considerable tax free savings, as well as improve your level of fitness!
Dorset Software is committed to encouraging learning and development and offers support to staff interested in undertaking additional qualifications including:
A whole range of drinks are available free to staff including tea, coffee and fruit juices. In addition, we have a very well-stocked chocolate biscuit cupboard which everyone is free to visit. And, for the health-conscious, we offer daily fresh fruit.
Catch up with your colleagues in our common room at lunch, then join in on a number of sporting groups after work, many funded by the company. If sport’s not your thing, there's also a busy social agenda organised by members of staff including the regular Friday night visit to the pub, beach BBQs, cocktail-making classes, board game club, boat parties, and much more!
