At Mace, placements are a great way to understand which opportunities and roles are best for you. We offer two pathways on our Undergraduate Programmes:
Our Summer Placements are the perfect way to get a real taster of working in the industry.
Our 10-week summer placements offer undergraduates who are in their first, second or penultimate year of university, practical work experience to support their studies over the summer break.
We offer placements across a range of disciplines that reflect the diverse sectors and services at Mace.
After completing a one day induction at our head office in London, you will be placed on a live project where you will put what you have learned at university into practice under the guidance of industry leading professionals.
If you perform well on your placement, you could be made an offer to come back the following year to join another placement programme or the graduate development programme.
If you want to make your year in industry count, then our Industrial Placement is an excellent way to get an ‘all-access’ experience to prepare you for your final year at university.
Our industrial placements offer students the opportunity to undertake work experience for a year as part of a sandwich degree course.

Our Insight Day is a fantastic opportunity for first and second year undergraduate students who are interested in a career in the construction industry but unsure which roles might suit them.
The day is designed to give you an overview of Mace, discuss career opportunities, and introduce you to some of our current and former graduates and senior colleagues.
You will receive presentations on our services and take part in interactive workshops. A visit to one of Mace’s projects will help you to understand how and why we do what we do.
If you perform well on the programme, your experience with us could give you an advantage if you apply for our graduate or undergraduate opportunities.
