As a Health, Safety & Wellbeing apprentice, you’ll be partly office-based, and partly at the work front supporting the delivery of our HSW programme to ensure we reduce risk through our construction projects.

Activities would include but not be limited to:
Assist the management team in the development, management, implementation and monitoring of the Health, Safety and Wellbeing Management System by updating systems in line with changes in legislation or best practice, delivering training, coaching construction teams, and undertaking workplace inspections.
Proactively support the delivery of the HSW strategy to ensure it remains relevant and value adding in line with the desired outcomes.
Coordinate team events, workshops, and forums.
Assist in the delivery of communications including campaigns.
Attend meetings, inspections and audits as required to take notes and record actions.
HSW administration tasks to support reporting, presentations, documentation reviews and updates, training matrix, monitoring programmes.
Assist in the investigation of accidents with the aim of understanding what is required to prevent a recurrence and embed the learning within the organisation.
You’ll complete a Level 3 Safety, Health and Environment Technician apprenticeship over the course of two years. We will provide support and mentoring to develop your experience and achieve TechIOSH membership of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH).
GCSEs grade 4/C or above in Maths and English
Must hold a Level 3 qualification, such as A Levels or Level 3 Diploma
We welcome qualifications from around the world: IELTS score of 6.0 or Cambridge Proficiency or Advanced Grade C
