Mace offers its clients a fully comprehensive project management consultancy service supporting the development and implementation of major transport projects, we provide a flexible and highly bespoke service based on a well-proven formula for delivery.

We are responsible for efficient, joined-up delivery of a complex series of projects, constantly gathering and analysing the performance data required to effectively manage a project, programme or portfolio.
This performance data includes financial information about contracts, progress data from contractors, risk data and other data that enables the project or programme managers to direct the work.
As a Project Controls Apprentice you will play a key supporting role in the delivery of our services to our clients. Initially, working alongside more senior project controls staff and/or Project Controls Managers, you will be responsible for gathering, sorting, analysing, and presenting a wide variety of information and data relating to the projects you have been assigned to.
Your role will be focused on the set up and execution of processes that predict, understand and constructively influence the desired outcomes of a project or programme, through the communication of information to assist effective decision making.
Your work base will be flexible and could be in one of Mace offices or at a client’s office or facility. You will gain exposure to all aspects of project delivery from concept design, through to construction, commissioning, validation handover and into operation.
The start date for this programme is September 2023.
On this programme you’ll work towards completing a Level 6 Project Controls apprenticeship. We’ll also support you in gaining professional membership of the Association of Cost (ACostE).

You’ll also need at least five GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade 4/C or above, including Maths and English, as well at least 96 UCAS points.
