Glass ceilings? Smashed.

Mace offers its clients a fully comprehensive project management consultancy service supporting the development and implementation of major transport projects, we provide a flexible and highly bespoke service based on a well-proven formula for delivery.

Regardless of the scale or complexity of a project, we employ and refine our systems and processes to provide control, governance and transparency from inception to completion. In every decision we make, we challenge and work diligently to find the most efficient and cost-effective outcome.

As an agile, focused and flexible partner, we adopt a value-driven strategy to define and articulate project objectives, before identifying the most effective means to deliver.

We are responsible for efficient, joined-up delivery of a complex series of projects, constantly gathering and analysing the performance data required to effectively manage a project, programme or portfolio. This performance data includes financial information about contracts, progress data from contractors, risk data and other data that enables the project or programme managers to direct the work.

Your role will be focused on the set up and execution of processes that predict, understand and constructively influence the desired outcomes of a project or programme, through the communication of information to assist effective decision making.

Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

  • Recording and understanding scope definition
  • Management of a work breakdown structure
  • Planning and scheduling and recording progress on site
  • Cost control
  • Forecasting outcomes by time and cost
  • Change control
  • Risk management
  • Writing procedures and creating process flow charts
  • General project administration
  • Document management
  • Interface management
  • Extensive data management and integrating departmental systems through common coding structures
  • Stakeholder management
  • Producing reports on all of the above

Your work base will be flexible and could be in one of Mace offices or at a client’s office or facility. You will gain exposure to all aspects of project delivery from concept design, through to construction, commissioning, validation handover and into operation.

The start date for this programme is June 2023.

About you

We’re looking for ambitious people who want to make a difference in the world. Proactive people who aren’t afraid of barriers, innovate, and have a genuine passion for service excellence. And those who embody the same values, behaviours and competencies as us to proudly move our industry forward:
