Data has never been more important to BT. We have over 30 million customers; when you think about it like, that’s suddenly a lot of information about what they like (and what they don’t). We use our data to make sure we can give our customers a great personalised experience, and to do that it all needs to be underpinned by high quality, low latency data. And that’s where you come in.
You’ll work with our teams to help deliver our vision around customer engagement and customer experience and making sure it’s the best it can be. You’ll also be using data to looks at things like maximising revenue and profitability as well. We’ll help you build your skills across data science, data engineering and insight and analytics,
We follow an agile way of working, meaning you’ll learn lots of new skills quickly and on the job. By the end of the programme, you’ll know how to create logical data models, and how to use data science techniques to select and tune algorithms to quantify performance in a business relevant way. But it’s not all just technical either; we’ll also support you in learning to tell engaging stories using non-technical language and how to create exciting visualisations and execute experiments to show the performance of algorithms.
You’ll have the opportunity to develop a range of other additional skills such as stakeholder, project and change management. All together it will give you all the skills and experience you need to kick-start a fantastic career.
Our Data & Analytics programme is available our Consumer parts of our business. As part of this programme, you’ll do three rotations, spending eight months on each rotation.
