What you'll be doing

In the digital world, handling of security is becoming increasingly important and we know we have a vital responsibility for making sure all of our customers – from multinational businesses to individuals – are protected, as well as our own company.

By joining BT Security on our industrial placement scheme you’ll get a chance to work in one of our most exciting and fastest growing areas of the business. You could find yourself working in anything from research to delivering security architecture, bid support and developing and deploying solutions to our customers, for example.

If you’ve got an interest in cyber security, big data, analytics, security architecture and design, next generation dynamic network security and potentially pen testing and ethical hacking we’ll give you a great environment to develop your knowledge, understanding and skills.

Entry requirements

You should be in the penultimate year of a relevant STEM undergraduate degree course and on track to achieve a minimum 2.1. For some roles, you may also need to go through additional security screening. Your recruiter will be able to explain this to you.

Salary

• £18,200 per annum, pro rata
