About Us

RISE is a major city-wide initiative to increase graduate employment in small and medium sized enterprises. Our vision is to bring together graduates who want to work hard and do great things, with businesses with energy and vision that are already looking for fresh talent.

RISE is a collaboration between city region partners, Sheffield City Council, Sheffield Hallam University, The University of Sheffield and the private sector.

To date, RISE has helped more than 300 graduates find employment within Sheffield.

The Opportunity

The RISE scheme is open to any graduate who wishes to work in Sheffield.

All RISE roles are based within a local business in the Sheffield city region, paid with a competitive salary. Most RISE Sheffield opportunities result in a permanent job.

We presently have a number of exciting opportunities for graduates interested in science, technology, IT and engineering. Salaries for these roles range from £15,000 to £25,000 with excellent progression opportunities and the chance to secure permanent employment.

If you are lucky enough to secure one of the RISE roles you won't just be getting a job. You will be getting access to some of the best training and professional networking with senior leaders in the city, giving you a fantastic opportunity to develop quickly and accelerate your career.
