What attracted you to Sisk and the Excelerate programme?

The guidance from Mentors and the reputation Sisk had as a company.

In no more than 20 words explain what Excelerate is?

It is the tools and guides to a successful career, you just have to use them.

How did you find the recruitment process?

Very well organized and not too overwhelming.

How are you supported through the programme?

I have a great Mentor and site team and further support is provided when needed.

Tell me in your own words what your best experience has been on the Excelerate programme to date?

My best experience to date is the welcoming into the company. They really make the effort to ensure you are prepared and equipped for working with Sisk.

Please describe in summary what your day/week looks like in your current/most recent placement you’d like to share?

My day to day role is setting out with other Engineers on site, as well as some quality and environmental aspects; you can get involved with the soil testing etc. I have many roles as a Site Engineer.

What have you found most challenging?

The most challenging aspect of the Excelerate programme is trying to get as much information as you can out of very competent people that you work with - you can learn so much from these people!

Any tips for future applicants?

Don’t be scared off by the moving around - you meet great people along the way.
