About Our Crown Estate Minerals & Infrastructure Managing Agent team:

The Crown Estate has commissioned a significant programme of work to understand it’s offshore mineral resources allowing the protection of key areas of seabed for development of minerals extraction, renewables development and future nascent technologies such as carbon capture and storage, offshore grid and tidal range. The Royal HaskoningDHV team have significant involvement in this long term project.

Role Context:

This is a full time role working for The Crown Estate Minerals & Infrastructure Managing Agent team.  The role is based in RHDHV’s Brighton office. There will be some travel to our client in central London, customer and other specialist services sites within the UK.

Job Role:

This role will be a combination of day to day activities related to the management of the client’s Marine Minerals assets;

  • Resource management - technical reporting (resource assessment including quality, volume, and risk) to inform commercial and operational decisions.
  • Utilise public and customer generated marine environmental and geological data to generate an inventory – a national sand & gravel database and model of marine aggregate resources in UK waters.
  • Provide technical assistance in quantifying marine aggregates reserves and resources within The Crown Estate’ seabed
  • Assist the Managing Agent in the provision of information into the client financial and asset management systems.
  • Assist in the generation of commercial proposals and reports particularly providing technical geo resource input.
  • Provide a variety of geological interpretive information reports to project team and client
  • Frequent client liaison
