The Demand Management team are responsible for helping Affinity Water customers use water better and more efficiently.

As Data Analyst, you will lead on all data analysis and reporting activity in the team, helping us to deliver the consumer demand management strategy by evidencing the success of our Water Efficiency, Water Saving and Metering communications and campaign efforts.

The role

The primary focus of this role is to undertake detailed data analysis and reporting. You’ll use a range of complex data sets in order to prove the outcomes of our demand reduction initiatives, regularly reporting on the performance of activities against plans, targets and objectives.

You’ll get involved in a range of existing projects, plus new initiatives where success measures will need to be designed, iterated and presented to key stakeholders.

Using your excellent analytical skills, you’ll analyse and extract relevant information from large amounts of structured and unstructured data, providing data-driven insights and creating forecasts to predict the likely impact of efforts.

You’ll communicate conclusions drawn from complex analysis to a wide range of stakeholders, working collaboratively to ensure success in meeting one of the most ambitious targets within the water industry – reducing our customers’ water use by 12.5% by 2025.

What you’ll need

You’ll have experience of dealing with complex data sets and undertaking performance reporting. If you have Data Analyst experience within a regulated industry environment, even better.

You’re a logical thinker with great attention to detail and the ability to apply creative solutions. Experience in using visual tools such as Business Objects or similar is advantageous.
