The Business Planner (BP) acts as "Business Expert" and supports volume growth by providing forecasting expertise and demand planning capability for a specific brand(s) or Category(ies) of product. The role of the Business Planner is to provide an unbiased and reliable demand forecast agreed with the other commercial functions, the planning service centre and regional business unit (RBU) in order to enable the plant/RBU to plan their production processes and to set the volume plan basis that drives our local market operations financial commitment.
The BP also supports cost and cash reduction through best in class demand capability and relevant supply chain improvements projects, and is responsible for delivering the category initiative master plan to the local market.
