• employee engagement – encourage employees to change old habits and make small changes
• energy consumption – use energy efficient lighting, heating and power consumption
• waste – manage waste according to the principles of 3 Rs; reduce, re-use and recycle eg paper, confidential waste, ink and toner cartridges, batteries
• business travel – reduce by using online conferencing facilities or use public transport if possible
• production processes – identify natural and environmentally friendly materials where possible
• supply chain – work with suppliers to encourage sustainable practices
