About the role

Everyone tries to steal our graduates! Want to know why? Read on...

For some people, 2 years of shadowing someone and going through the motions of career development will be enough. These aren’t NCC people.

Our objective is to develop you into an expert. It takes a certain type of person to make the most of this opportunity. If you’re proactive and want to take charge of your career this could be you.

Imagine an environment where you’re working on the next generation of aircraft wing one month and a paralympian project the next. We work across 16 (and growing) sectors, from oil and gas to renewable energy. With that much variety, your career journey starts from day one.

NCC Careers

Can you see yourself working on R&D projects side-by-side with your customer? With organisations like Rolls Royce and Airbus permanently onsite, you’ll collaborate on some significant projects. Who knows you might end up working with your future employer – We think you’ll want to stay though!

How would it feel to be truly recognised? Our people are our most important asset and we work hard to keep them engaged. We’re careful to look after your welfare, so our flexible working hours give you plenty of time to experience all that Bristol has to offer. It’s a city which regularly tops the ‘best place to live in Britain’ list and has something for everyone.

It’s the NCC experience that makes our graduates some of the most sought after in industry. If you genuinely want to work in the composites industry (and we’ll be able to tell) then the NCC is the place for you.

You will need:

To join us, you’ll need to have a minimum 2:1 in an engineering or materials science degree, ideally with hands-on experience of working with composite materials.

The Details

The NCC’s graduate programme lasts for 2 years. During this time you’ll have four x 6 month rotations. This ensures you get experience in Design, Make, Evaluate and Project Management. The rotations are supported by a structured training programme consisting of both technical and personal development courses.
