About the role

Crest Nicholson are now recruiting for our 2017 Site Management Academy. This is a training programme designed to train and develop our next generation of Site Managers. We are currently looking for an ambitious trainee to join our South division for a project in Ashford, Kent. You will be based in the new village of Finberry which is one of Crests largest sites. It is a fantastic opportunity to see and be part of Crest, seeing how we creating sustainable, beautiful communities. The properties we build here is predominantly apartments, 2 & 3 bedroom cottages and 4 & 5 bedroom family homes. 

Participants will receive training and development (including qualifications) as a ‘Trainee Site Manager’ before potentially progressing on to become an Assistant Site Manager and then Site Manager.

Ultimately, as a Crest Nicholson Site Manager, you will manage the production of homes to pre-determined programmes and budgets in accordance with company safety, quality, sustainability and presentational standards. Customer interaction will be a key part of your role and you will be responsible for ensuring that you establish and maintain an impeccable relationship with customers.

Skills Required

To be considered for our Site Management Academy you will need to:

  • Be enthusiastic, self-motivated and a good team player
  • Be able to multi task and identify key priorities
  • Be organised, with good time management skills and attention to detail
  • Be a good communicator
  • Be able to develop the skills needed to lead and manage a team and have a strong interest in project management
  • Have a construction related degree
