No betting or gaming experience? No problem. We’re more interested in your tech knowhow, great communication skills and ability to drive improvements and deliver innovative solutions.
Pushing the latest front and back-end tech to its limits, you’ll create secure, high performing software solutions. You’ll own and monitor our technical systems. And you’ll help our agile scrum team take our coding practices, application quality and agile processes to the next level.
Ideally you will be skilled in application design and problem solving and have knowledge of a Linux environment. You must also be able to turn briefs into fast, secure and innovative applications that are easy to monitor and maintain. If you’ve got some experience of test-driven development in a high traffic, high availability environment – so much the better.
Software Engineer - Test
At the heart of our multi-skilled teams, you’ll make sure your technical, automated and performance testing solutions are integrated into our projects from start to finish. You’ll help develop continuous delivery pipelines whilst working with Test Engineers and Developers. You’ll also shape our approach to testing and create and monitor test models, frameworks and solutions.
Gain exposure to: Open Source and industry leading tools, including Appium/Calabash, Behat, JBehave, Selenium, JMeter, BlazeMeter and Gatling.
We’re constantly developing our products and creating new software and services. You’ll make sure everything is fit for purpose and ready to meet the challenges of our fast-paced environment. You’ll evaluate user and testing requirements. You’ll rigorously plan, write and implement test scripts as part of our agile team. You’ll also test our mobile apps and websites and help to develop automated testing, smoke tests and our regression suite.
At the cutting-edge of functional and automated testing, you must have experience of applying quality assurance processes in an agile software development environment. Ideally, you will also have a strong knowledge of all testing activities from solving problems to test analysis, scripting and defect management
Gain exposure to: Agile and lean principles and testing under Scrum or Kanban methodologies.
Shaping our PaaS automation toolset, you’ll work with our teams to develop new capabilities and implement changes that will improve speed and release quality. You’ll fix problems, identify better ways of doing things and own platform code change reviews and improvements from test to go live. Excited by technology, you’ll also keep pace with best practice and open source tech to recommend new tools and solutions.
You can clearly communicate complex tech information to the non-tech savvy and work with our teams and partners to translate business needs into innovative automation solutions.
Gain exposure to: PaaS automation toolset, including Chef, Ruby, Test Kitchen, Jenkins, git, VMWare, AWS, Packer and Red Hat Linux.
