We are looking for a Graduate Supportability Engineer working in Design Support department at our Denham site. The role holder is responsible for determining the reliability, maintainability and safety of the product and in so doing will oversee the design activity to ensure reliability and maintainability specifications are met and systems are safe to operate when flying and during ejection. is responsible for the performance of some Logistics Support Analysis (LSA), and production of the Logistics Support Analysis Record (LSAR) and to make recommendations to enhance the supportability of Martin-Baker products.
Areas of Responsibility
Conduct assessments using an analytical approach to ensure reliability, maintainability and safety of design.
Produce computational predictions regarding reliability, maintainability and safety.
Produce and present documentation detailing assessment outputs for both internal use and the customer.
Participate in the IPT (Integrated Product Team) process; represent the function of R&M as well as Logistic Support
Revise and test quality of processes where appropriate.
Review and amend drawings – apply appropriate judgement.
Perform Marginality of Success analyses on hardware subjected to testing and report accordingly.
Understand customer requirements and end-user’s maintenance concept in accordance with customer provided specification / statement of work.
Produce LSAR data sets by means of thorough product research and structured Analysis (LSA) in accordance with specified standards. Identify maintenance requirements, procedures and all associated support resources necessary for sustainment of the MBA product in-service.
Populate LSAR using appropriate software packages ensuring compliance with necessary protocols and standards
Liaise with Technical Publications to provide clarification and validation of core data transferred from the LSAR to MBA technical manuals.
Aerospace / Mechanical Engineering degree (2.1) or equivalent.

The ideal applicant will have:
Thorough experience in working with the design of electro-mechanical systems.
Thorough experience in developing design changes to incorporate Maintainability and Reliability features in a similar environment (Aerospace/Defence).
