Bilfinger UK consistently focuses on the individual needs of our clients. We have both the means and the skills needed to offer precise, tailored solutions of various scales. In this regard, we rely on the diversity of our skills.
Our business depends on employees who bring a broad range of experiences, qualifications and perspectives to the work they do. The diversity of our employees is undoubtedly a key factor in our ability to successfully rise to the challenges in a constantly changing world and continually expand our market position.
At Bilfinger, all employees enjoy the same opportunities in terms of hiring and their ongoing development within the company. There can be no discrimination based on ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, ideology, disability or age. The diversity of our employees enriches our company - and is a key factor in our corporate success.
Our policy is to hire people with the right qualifications and skills for a specific post. An integral part of that approach is our compensation system, which is geared solely to the requirements of the position, individual performance, the conditions and competition for talent in the local market as well as pay scale agreements.
Bilfinger UK offers a 3 year graduate scheme which involves successful candidates completing a range of placement rotations across various departments within the business in years 1 and 2 of the scheme.
The rotations are in place to enable our graduates to develop their knowledge and expertise in various areas of work, working on live projects and receiving on- and off-the-job training in the process. This experience assists our graduates with obtaining a good all-round appreciation of the business, and helps them (supported by their line manager and mentor) with their decision of what specialism they will choose in year 3 of the scheme before working towards obtaining a full time position with us.
Our graduate scheme runs within each of our main office locations: Birchwood, Chesterfield, Reading and Fareham, where each graduate will be assigned a mentor to support their journey with us and answer any queries they may have along the way.
