Constructing Excellence is a membership-based platform for industry improvement to deliver excellence through clients, industry and users through collaborative working. It provides content, events, workshops and working groups to stimulate, debate and drive much needed change in the Construction sector. We are looking to transform the way we engage with and provide meaningful insight to our members and stakeholders. We want to find creative and impactful ways to engage and provide insight and this role is fundamental to delivering that.

The value this role will add
Reporting to the Head of Constructing Excellence and working closely with the Insight and Engagement Coordinator whose role is to represent the CE activities for an external audience.
Pro-actively identify trends and developments across the construction industry to provide insight for CE Members across all topic areas
Helping define and facilitate Theme Groups discussions, writing up and summarising the outcomes
Find effective and engaging ways to communicate outputs and maximise their exposure and reach including website, social media and other mechanisms
Liaise closely with teams across BRE to ensure consistency of messaging
Support the delivery of Constructing Excellence meetings, workshops and events, finding ways to make them more impactful

This role will free up time for the Head of Constructing Excellence to focus on strategy and long-term member value and improve the member experience.
What experience and skills does the role need?
Qualifications, knowledge and experience
Experienced in a variety of communication mechanisms including B2B social media and websites
Experience of using Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and ability to learn other systems as required
Knowledge of the built environment is preferable but a curiosity and willingness to learn about built environment and sustainability is essential

High level of creativity and strong visual skills
High level of organisation and prioritisation skills
Confident and comfortable working as part of a small team
Strong inter-personal skills and relationship building
Annual holidays - We have an annual holiday entitlement of 25 days, which includes three company days between Christmas and New Year.
Stakeholder pension - BRE operates a voluntary, contributory Pension and Life Insurance scheme. The scheme is contributory at a minimum rate of 5% of your monthly salary; BRE will match your 5% contribution. The scheme is offered on a pension salary exchange (PSE) basis whereby contributions are made at source from gross salary.
Onsite nursery - The House that Jack Built Nursery is a privately owned nursery open to the public at our Watford site. It caters for children aged from six months to five years, with flexible times for dropping off children and picking them up.
Onsite restaurant - Available at the Watford site, providing a range of hot meals, salads and snacks.
Sporting and social facilities - Our Watford site has a range of sporting facilities, including a football pitch, tennis courts and a small gym, and many out of hours social activities.
Good transport links, free parking and EV charging - You can easily reach the Watford site by train, bus, bike, car or foot. For those who need to drive there is free onsite parking. We are pleased to offer free electric vehicle charging.
