We currently have exciting opportunities and are looking for Graduate Test Systems Engineers.
Key Responsibility Areas
As a Graduate Test Systems Engineer you will be working within a high technology development team developing state-of-art Avionics Equipment. Areas of work will include the design and implementation of complex test system solutions used in the development and production testing of our Radar and Laser Technology Products.
Key areas of involvement for the Graduate Test System Engineer are Product Lifecycle (from requirements capture through to delivery and in-service support) primarily developing test solution capabilities for in-house Product Development, Leonardo Manufacturing and our Customers.
You will report into a Lead or Principal Engineer and actively participate in the Graduate Scheme over 2 years. You will be introduced to the development processes utilising state-of-the-art methods, technology and tools and will be encouraged to gain experience of all aspects of the development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, integration, applied research and test.
Most training will be delivered via on the job experience whilst working on real production hardware within project groups delivering systems to our customers. Additional formal technical training to augment the on the job training will be provided via taught courses dependent upon the business need and also on the career direction of the individual.
Skills, Qualifications & Knowledge Required
All of our roles require (a) a minimum of an upper Second class Bachelors/Integrated Masters degree, or (b) a higher degree, such as a MSc or PhD in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or a related discipline.
A Graduate who has a preference to develop software that predominately interfaces with hardware would be desirable.
