What does it mean to be a Lendlease graduate?

Our Day in the Life series finds out first-hand. This week, we caught up with: Neelam Kundi, 23, Graduate Assistant Development Project Manager in London.

I'm currently responsible for...

Managing wayfinding and the Park Pavilion at Elephant Park as part of my role in the Public Ream and Infrastructure team. I am also a champion for our virtual reality room here at the park, alongside my graduate role, I started at Elephant Park in September 2017. However, my involvement in the innovation pathway means I have the opportunity to work at other offices and see other Lendlease developments progress, which is great!

My most memorable work moment was...

Leading an exciting new project using Lendlease’s innovation pathway, which will use Smart City ideas at the International Quarter London. The aim is to bring further benefit to local people and businesses through the collection and analysis of data. This project involves significant interaction with various shareholders and members of the community to create a successful smart city hot spot.

I've learnt that the industry...

Is always moving forwards, and to keep up you have to communicate efficiently with various teams within each project to ensure there is seamless integration from design through to construction. Lendlease is at the forefront of this industry and it is great to see that we embrace innovation in all areas of the business, be it in the design, construction or development phase.

After work...

I love to practice Yoga and go out for long walks.

Lendlease is a place for me because...

Every day is different. Each task comes with its own challenges and is also at a different stage, meaning my management role varies from design through to delivery, Lendlease provides its graduates with ample opportunity to showcase their talents and to also learn on the job.
