Leather Manufacturing

We are looking for an intern to support the Leather Quality team for 6 Months starting July 2019. The Leather Quality department manufacture the main interior trim components fitted to all Rolls-Royce vehicles including seats, door panels and instrument panels.

You will be working in the Launch Quality Planning Engineers, so your main responsibilities will lean towards the new Rolls-Royce vehicles.

Studying towards a degree in Engineering and or Science and on track to achieve a 2:1 or above.

Key Accountabilities

  • Designing, printing and testing gauges to support Quality Engineers in new product introduction.
  • Having full responsibility for the leather shop 3D Printer: timing, organising requests and investigating different materials and nozzles.
  • Work heavily within the quality planning department supporting the development of new products.
  • Individual projects to investigate, analyse and improve production processes.
