What awaits you?
Taking on individual projects to develop bespoke features
Undertaking research on various concepts, materials, production technologies, and automotive legislation relevant to the scope of the features developed
Estimating costs required to support the design and validation of the bespoke features
Creating Requirements Specifications to support the quotation process used with external suppliers
Conducting Risk Analysis and creating DFMEAs to support the maturation of concept design
Identifying the testing required to validate a bespoke feature using internal standards and Design of Experiments where required.
Creating/Analysing 3D CAD Models and 2D drawings in preparation for release.
Qualifications and Experience
Degree in progress for Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or suitable equivalent
Experience in an New Product Development environment would be advantageous Basic CAD competence required
Ability to create 2D engineering drawings
A sound knowledge of various production technologies used to process metals, plastics, wood & leather:
An understanding of vehicle and component measurement/validation systems.
