About the Role

National Grid Ventures is the competitive division of National Grid plc, one of the largest investor-owned energy companies in the world. It operates outside of National Grid’s core regulated businesses in the UK and US where it develops, operates and invests in energy projects, technologies and partnerships to accelerate the development of our clean energy future.

We have two slightly different but equally exciting roles that you could be suitable for within National Grid Ventures.

I work for National Grid

You could be Commercial Analyst Business Development; responsible for working and contributing flexibly across the range of commercial activities being undertaken across the Commercial Agreements, Commercial Strategy, Cost Estimation and Bid Management areas as necessary across the Business Development (BD) project portfolio.

Or you could be analyst based within National Grid’s Commercial Services team is responsible for understanding the markets that are linked by our HVDC links and providing analysis that helps us to identify risks and opportunities in our business.

What You'll Need

Minimum requirement 2.2 degree in any of the following disciplines Mathematics, Engineering, Finance, Computer studies.

We’re proud to offer a competitive salary of £28,709 (or £29,753 if you hold a Masters)

This opportunity is at our NGV Head Office in Solihull.
