IT Business Analyst Supply Chain (f/m/d)

To support our Supply Chain Execution Services Team in IT Services we are searching for an IT Business Analyst, preferably located in our Ismaning (Munich) office. We offer diverse and interesting tasks which require a high level of self-responsibility, as well as exciting insights into the Source to Pay area within a global IT organisation.

About the Role

We are seeking an IT Business Analyst, who will take lead responsibility for the support of the processes linked to Indirect Procurement. At Essity, this relates to spend on such areas as temporary labor, marketing, MRO and other categories.

You will be responsible for optimising and supporting the buying process, from day-to-day application support, to analysing and reviewing new demands. You will need experience in using and configuring the applications Ariba and SAP MM.

You will be responsible for contributing to projects - from implementing small enhancements to leading major business transformation programs. You will play a key role in explaining the system capabilities for the business users.

What you will do

• Support of the business processes related to Indirect Procurement
• Technical analysis and understanding of the applications supporting the Indirect Procurement process, primarily Ariba Buying, Catalog & Commerce Automation and S/4Hana MM
• Service management and coordination
• Provide support with training and managing the business user community
• Project management

Who you are

• Bachelor or Master's degree in Computer Sciences, Business Informatics/Mathematics, Business Administration/Logistics with a focus on IT, Digital Technology and/or Innovation Management or other relevant field.
• Ariba application in general, with preference towards knowledge gained working with the Buying module
• SAP skills (ideally S/4 HANA) Materials Management and MDG
• Project management experience
• Knowledge in Source to Pay processes
• Confidence in using MS Office applications (PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Word, SharePoint, Teams)
• Fast learner, has a logical understanding, and motivation to work in a challenging surrounding
• Independent in way of working
• Solution oriented and strong analytical skills
• Strong communication/interpersonal skills
• Interest in technology trends
• Fluent in English (written and verbal)
