Job Purpose and primary objectives

Conversational AI being an emerging technology and growth area, this position will be responsible for development for different solutions involving the conversational technologies and integration with enterprise systems and data sources.

This role will primary relate to developing solutions on the market leading Conversational Technologies. 

Key responsibilities

  • Understand project specifications to develop program logic and code within the assigned time frame and interactively test and demonstrate to team for further testing.
  • Responsible for building and testing using one or more of the programming languages.
  • Use the applicable APIs as part of building the code.
  • Map the data requirements and build applicable code for handling the data requirements and integration with other internal and external data sources.
  • Debug and performance tune the developed code to meet the product functional and non functional requirements.

Technical Skills

  • Knowledge on web technologies (e.g. C#.Net, Java, AngularJS, NodeJS), database technologies (e.g. SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB) and methodologies (e.g. Scrum , Kanban, TDD, DevOps) to name just a few.
  • Experience or understanding of using one or more of these (IBM – Watson Conversation Service, Microsoft - Bot Framework (Bing, Luis, Cortana, Skype, …), Amazon – Lex, Alexa APIs, Google – API.ai, Facebook – Wit.ai, Apple – iOS 11 SiriKit or any equivalent platform/services).
  • Should be familiar with building and using APIs and good understanding of web Services(REST) and web programming principles, cookies & sessions.
  • We will accept applications from students studying any STEM related degree providing you can show some previous knowledge of computing/programming.

Other Skills

  •  Familiar with building conversational solutions such as Chatbots, Voice based assistants, Virtual agents, Augmented reality etc.
  • Should be able to work in Agile - Scrum methodology and collaborate with architects and designers.
  • Must have good communication skills, analytical and problem solving skills.
