Business Unit Overview
We have an exciting opportunity at Huawei Project Management Office (PMO) is one of the six functional departments within UK Delivery and Service (Global Technical Service) which is the core business function responsible for all UK and Ireland service delivery activities to the customer. The major proportion of resources in the UK Representative Office belong to D&S with main focus on technology, creativity and innovation.
As a leading business department, PMO works cross-functionally with all stakeholders, understanding and executing the customer requirement and identifying potential risks along with the associated mitigation plans. The scope of our projects are spread across many areas but mainly Wireless Technologies (4G/5G), Fixed Network, Software and Core Networks.
The Project Management Office (PMO) is responsible for the successful delivery of the telecoms projects and ensuring customer satisfaction across Huawei UK Carrier Network Business Group (CNBG). Our Project Managers work cross-functionally and cross-technology. They are responsible E2E for all stages of the project from initiation through delivery and then onwards to final closure. The structure of the department is designed to allow the various functions to achieve success through ongoing strong collaboration together between Project Management, Project Control, Quality / Health and Safety and Revenue Management.
