We have an exciting Engineering opportunities at Huawei’s Network Technology Department (NTD), Consulting and System Integration (C&SI) and Assurance and Managed Service (AMS) Departments.
Those three sub departments are part of the six functional departments within UK Delivery and Service (Global Technical Service) which is the core business function responsible for all UK and Ireland service delivery activities to the customer. The major proportion of resources in the UK Representative Office belong to D&S with main focus on technology, creativity and innovation.
NTD – The NTD team are responsible for the design and architecture of networks exploiting technology innovation and solutions in an ever changing technological environment. Expert teams are employed to provide network solutions that exceed customer expectations but within customer budgets.
C&SI – The C&SI team are responsible for the integration and performance of new and existing networks working with Huawei experts and external customers. The team supports the introduction of innovative and advanced technology, integrating solutions within customer networks. The team advises and recommends changes to network architecture to benefit customer network performance engaging directly with customers on a daily basis.
AMS – The AMS team provide the ongoing support to customer networks including support of network change management and Service assurance. AMS provide Customer Support through direct engagement providing detailed technical advice to customers. The support extends to traditional hardware and software support services across all network elements.
Those 3 departments are strongly focusing on technology, innovation and are responsible for delivering different aspects of service within the project lifecycle. They work cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders to maximise the benefit of the service delivered to our customers. They are closely aligned to requirements of the Project management office (PMO) to understand customer requirement, market insight and internal business demand.
The scope of technology, consulting/solution and E2E delivery are spread across many different areas but mainly Wireless Technologies (4G/5G), Fixed Network, Software and Core Networks.
In collaboration with Project Management Office (PMO) they are responsible for the successful delivery of the telecoms projects and ensuring customer satisfaction across Huawei UK Carrier Network Business Group (CNBG). Our Engineers are expert within specific technology domain but work cross-functionally supporting various projects.
