About us

Oxford Fiber is a small high-technology company based in Rugby. We are deeply involved in connectivity of optical fiber and we are a world-leader in the design and manufacture of optical fiber cleavers. These are the wire cutters which prepare the ends of the optical fiber and are used to install optical fiber for use in high speed broadband.

We have recently launched a fiber cleaver with our main customer, a major US multinational. This has brought about a major increase in turnover. We aim to double production of our existing fiber cleavers and plan to extend our product range further by customer-focused development work. We are also developing new products and processes for connectorising optical fibers.
